CTE UK and Sharman CPD Training
It was a busy old day at IRS HQ yesterday with members of the team undergoing CTE UK training on our all-new truck-mounted cherry picker. Lewis, Arran and Ryan pictured with CTE UK trainer Eddie George spent the morning discovering the inner workings of our new CTE ZED 21.3 JHV, a 21m cherry picker, that will help facilitate our emergency works for some of multi-branch clients throughout the central belt.
Company Milestone
The cherry picker arrived last Saturday, with Arran flying to Leicester to collect the 7.5m long vehicle to drive it 350 miles to its new home in Scotland. The arrival of the machine ticks off another goal on our strategic plan for 2024. It will allow our maintenance, repair, and inspection teams
to offer an agile and responsive service to our customers.
HD Sharman CPD Training
CPD Training was also on the agenda for some of our office staff yesterday, with Ronny Hudson from HD Sharman coming in to give us some up-to-date information on product offerings from their roof refurbishment systems and gutter liner systems portfolio.
As well as being approved HD Sharman installers, Industrial Roofing Scotland are advocates of the plygene liner systems that HD Sharman manufacture. We’ve used this product on many of our projects over the years, and can vouch for the system’s durability, ease of installation and long-term benefits it offers our clients with persistent gutter leaks.

The machine heads back to receive the finishing touches to its livery design and will be on the road very soon. Make sure you give the guys a wave if you see them on the road.
